Cars and racing have been a big part of my hobbies since early high school. Raced ¼ mile in high school and college. Also raced dirt tracker in college.

Enjoy all types racing; retired Air Force, married for 37 years all to the same woman, great kids and grandkids, currently building a ¼ mile bracket car, airline pilot for Northwest Airlines since 1996 Boeing 757. Play golf occasionally and enjoy cruises with Club members and hearing the sounds of drag strip.

Purchased 67 in Santa Rosa California in 1992. Lady who owned it just wanted to get rid of it and didn’t really know what a jewel she had. Two year frame off rebuild. Spec: 400-4 barrel, 4 speed Muncie wide ratio, factory air, power steering and brakes, Starlight Black, 3:55 Posi, Mickey Thompson redlines, original alum drums on all four, maybe 10 mpg, real numbers match car down to distributor and tranny. Car in good condition and looks good from 30 feet. 3600 miles since rebuild complete.

Purchased 65 over ebay in Florida. Post car with factory 326 Briggs and Stratton, Powerglide, powersteering and factory air, manual brakes. Car is completely gutted right now with body 4 feet in air and chassis disassembled. Plan to convert to a ¼ & 1/8 milefootbrake bracket drag car. 455 .030 over 428 nodular stroked to BBC rod size with 6.7 eagle Hbeams and Ross alum pistons. Comp cams hyd roller with KRE alum heads 1.65 rockers BeeHive springs,600 lift, 310 cfm flow. Torker II intake with MSD and will be using control box; 29.5 tire with Moser GM 12 bolt spool and 4 wheel discs; no tubing; Edlebrock 4 link suspension, and probably use J.P. superstock t-400 with 4000 stall. Other aspects and blueprints still in the works and planning stage. Estimated completion Summer 2009. After about 8-10 years of racing it, I plan to put all the original stuff back in it that’s currently mothballed and sell it as an original Llemans…326 lawn mower motor and all!!
